KPMG in the UK is part of a global organisation of independent firms that offers Audit, Consulting, Deal Advisory, Tax & Law and Technology services. Through the talent of over 16,000 people, we turn insights into opportunities, making a positive difference for businesses, people, and communities.
What is Audit?
Audit is KPMG’s largest practice in the UK, supporting many of the world’s largest organisations and helping to build trust in businesses and the economy. We examine organisations and ensure their published financial statements provide a true and fair view of their financial position. Through this work, we’re also committed to helping to build sustainable organisations from an Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) perspective. We behave ethically, uphold high standards and build trust.
KPMG Audit Graduate Programmes
We audit some of the world’s biggest companies, who rely on us to provide independent insight and opinion, challenge and high-quality audit expertise. As a graduate trainee, you’ll have the opportunity to work on complex audit engagements, from big retailers to globally recognised brands and multinational companies. It’s intellectually challenging work, but you’ll be benefiting from our investment in tech-enabled solutions and have our diverse Audit community by your side, providing the support you need to grow and thrive.
On this programme, you’ll have structured development opportunities and the chance to gain experience in different areas of the Audit practice. You’ll develop valuable skills, commercial understanding, and in-depth business knowledge, all of which will empower you to build an exciting and varied long-term career with us.
Training and Benefits
With the KPMG community by your side, you’ll have the support to grow in your own way and learning for a lifetime. You’ll have access to funded, relevant professional qualifications or accreditations and an extensive programme of internal training geared towards your career and personal development. On the Audit graduate programme, we also provide the chance for you to study towards the ACA qualification. And after completing it, your learning and career opportunities will continue.
We offer a competitive salary and a host of great benefits too, including 25 days’ holiday, study leave and a day off on your birthday. What’s more, you can take up to six days of time off to take part in volunteering initiatives.
Our firm’s hybrid working model balances the flexibility of working from home with the importance of collaborating and learning in offices or at engagement sites. We trust our people to be where the business we work with need them to be, with our colleagues working together in person as often as needed. You’ll be empowered by the technology that supports us to work flexibly and our collaborative office spaces, building friendships and shared experiences, innovating, and learning together.
Seeing the whole picture
KPMG is a place where you can be yourself and give your best - whoever you are and whatever your degree background. We look at more than just your academic results and will also consider your strengths, values and motivations. If you’re collaborative and good with people, that can be just as important as your ability to pick up key technical skills. See the specific programme page on our careers website for entry requirements and our ‘How to Apply’ section for detailed application guidance.
