Bedfordshire Police 2024 graduate opportunities

Company Company Profile

Bedfordshire Police has a team of over 2,000 Officers and support staff. We serve a population of more than half a million, across 477 square miles.

The communities we protect are extremely diverse, with over 80 different languages spoken. We work everywhere from large towns to small, rural villages. Throughout the county of Bedfordshire, our mission is to fight crime and protect the public.

Bedfordshire is home to an international airport, three major railway lines, and a huge road transport network which links London to the Midlands and Northern England. The county also boasts major tourist attractions - from Whipsnade Zoo and Woburn Safari Park, through to annual events such as Bedford River Festival and Luton Carnival. All of which means police work here is always varied, with plenty of interesting challenges.

Bedfordshire Police is supported in our vital work by many dedicated volunteers, including 255 Special Constables. The Police Cadets, aged 16-18, also provide valuable support to our Officers in their efforts to keep communities safe. We’re proud to offer these opportunities for our young people and communities to play an active role in policing and develop new skills.
