Graduate opportunities with Knox Cropper LLP - specialising in the not-for-profit sector
Knox Cropper is an 8 partner firm of Chartered Accountants (comprising over 35 staff), based in central London, with additional offices in Surrey and Hertfordshire. We specialise in the not-for-profit sector and we are one of the leading firms of Chartered Accountants providing services to charities, membership organisations, housing associations and trade unions.
We are an ICAEW approved training firm and our students are trained through the Mercia network and attend exam courses through Kaplan. This ensures that, as a trainee, you benefit from the support of the same group of trainees throughout the three year training contract enabling you to exchange views and mix with trainees from other firms.
We are looking to recruit a number of graduates who aspire to become chartered accountants. We have high standards and are looking for candidates with excellent academic qualifications as well as drive, ambition and a thirst for success. Our firm will particularly appeal to graduates who have an interest in the not-for-profit sector and a desire to understand how the sector operates.
In return, you’ll enjoy a competitive salary and an excellent package (with salary increases based on exam success and work performance). There is also huge potential to progress within the firm, following qualification. Add to this the opportunities and varied lifestyle that working in the Capital has to offer and it all adds up to a very rewarding opportunity.

Employee testimonial:
Having joined Knox Cropper LLP in August 2022, following my time at the University of Bath, I am over one year into my training contract and have passed 9 exams. From my experience Knox Cropper has provided engaging work and allowed me to work alongside staff that are keen to help you learn and develop. This has helped me to gain a great understanding of the key fundamentals of auditing and accounting, allowing myself to develop a strong understanding of how organisations operate, including a wide range of charities and other non-profits, which I believe will be a highly valuable skill for me going forward. I have found this has been supported by the exposure to a wide range of the auditing process that I have been able to experience at Knox Cropper.
Another aspect of working at Knox Cropper which I really value is the good work/life balance offered, which I have found to be vital when needing time to study for exams. This balance has enabled me to develop and learn at work, whilst also progress well with my exams and all the learning that comes with studying for the ACA.
Overall, the great opportunities for learning and development, friendly staff, and the ability to dedicate important time to studying have made Knox Cropper a great place to undertake my training contract
