Graduate Trainee Accountant - HAT Group

HAT Group

Are you looking for a different recruitment experience? One that values you as an individual, gives you feedback along the way, and won’t make you jump through multiple stages and take months to make a decision; if so, apply to HAT TODAY!

HAT are recruiting on behalf of our central London member firms graduates who want to start their ACA training in early January 2025.

HAT is unique because one application to us means you can be considered for more than one vacancy. Our scheme is managed solely by our Recruitment Director, Anna Boast. This means that you will be treated as an individual and won’t be subjected to a barrage of stages and months waiting to hear back.

Training with a smaller firm is so rewarding. Aside from a starting salary of around the £31,000 per annum mark, you won't spend months on one section of the same audit. You will soon be responsible for completing a whole range of assignments including accountancy, audit and giving business advice to a wide variety of clients. You will receive support every step of the way from your exam tutors, colleagues, your training partner and from the HAT team, which is why, on average 90% of our students pass first time.

In addition to all of this, you can expect a highly competitive annual salary, paid leave to attend college and complete your exams and your firm will ensure you have the right level of approved practical experience to become qualified. In addition to this, you will also attend high quality practical courses, which are written and run by HAT (these are not normally available if you chose to train with a small firm).

Minimum Academic Criteria

• A 2:1 in any discipline (or a 2:2 if very high UCAS points)

• A,B,B as a minimum at A-level

• Grade 7 above in GCSE maths

If you don’t meet this criteria, please email Anna to discuss via the apply button below.

Hat Group can only accept applications from those with permanent residency in the UK and those who have not already commenced their ACA studies.
