UnderwriteMe have been part of the PL Re Group since 2017. UnderwriteMe develop and market software products and services aimed at making life insurance more accessible by enabling the future of underwiting and distribution. The products are used by life insurance companies to automate underwriting and claims.
UnderwriteMe operates in the UK, Asia (through its Singapore Branch), Australia and New Zealand (via UnderwriteMe Australia) and the U.S. (via UnderwriteMe North America).
What are we offering?
We offer an internship which includes rotations between our Protection, Savings & Retirement, Divisional and UnderwriteMe finance and treasury teams, enabling you to gain well-rounded finance experience and develop a cross functional network within the business.
Should you succeed in your application, you will experience a dynamic hands-on work environment whilst building a comprehensive understandng of our finance functions and the services we provide to our clients. As a valued team member you will strive to deliver exceptional levels of professionalism.
What We're Looking For
We are looking for talented, ambitious and hard-working university students to join the team of financial accounting experts in our London office for a year-long placement. We pride ourselves on thinking differently, so we want people who are not afraid to challenge the norm.
To succeed in our Internship Programme, you need to be numerate and have the ability to analyse and interpret data. You need to be a collaborative team player, a strong communicator and possess an ability to build positive working relationships.
Minimum Requirements to apply for our programme are a B grade in A-level (or equivalent) Accounting, Economics, Business or Maths and a predicted 2:1 in an Accounting, Finance, Economics or Business undergraduate degree.
