Job Description
As the Junior Product Development Engineer your duties will include,
however will not be limited to:
• Mix, test, develop and improve
product formulations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to
ensure product quality and suitability for manufacture.
• Conduct
research on product materials and manufacturing processes.
• Liaise
with customers regularly regarding product performance and improvements.
•
Prepare product reports by collecting, analysing, and summarising
information.
• Maintain product and company reputation by complying
with government regulations.
• Support the senior engineers in
product development projects.
Job Requirements
The Successful Applicant
A successful Junior Product Development Engineer should have:
•
Previously worked in a similar Product Development position within a
manufacturing environment (ideally FMCG)
• Worked supporting a lab in
a previous position.
• A degree in Product Design Engineering,
Chemistry or a related field.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
•
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• The ability to work
effectively in a team environment.
• Working knowledge of SAP ideally.
