What you'll learn
Over two years and four rotational placements you’ll discover all that Business and Commercial Banking has to offer. Right from the get-go, your team will value your perspective, give you real responsibility, and rely on you to help businesses grow. You’ll explore a variety of specialisms and develop a well-rounded skill set, including:
- Working directly with Business & Commercial clients, understanding their needs and developing strong relationship-building skills.
- Understanding our range of products including lending, foreign exchange, payments and transaction banking, and merchant services.
- Learning how we develop our products to improve the customer experience, working with engineers and experts to enhance product journeys.
- Understanding how we manage risk across the business, including credit underwriting and conduct controls, to support customers and shape finance as a force for good.
You’ll be matched up with a buddy or mentor to support you and offer guidance throughout the scheme, and you’ll have access to technical and business-aligned training, including platforms such as Viva Learning and Learning Management systems, to further help your development.
With opportunities for extracurricular activities to expand your skills and experience across the bank, and with introductions to colleague networks, you’ll make great connections to further your career.
