Is our Corporate Banking and Markets graduate scheme for you?

Curious to learn what makes the economy tick? Love to work with some of the biggest global businesses? Ready to develop your technical skills and product knowledge? This is your moment.

From day one, you’ll learn from world-class teams and support some of the largest and most high-profile clients we work with. You’ll gain in-depth knowledge of financial markets and transaction solutions, to be well equipped to succeed in corporate and financial institutional banking. You’ll be valued for your perspective and have real responsibility. And you’ll enjoy unlimited opportunities to be innovative, think critically and add real value to our business. Which includes supporting our role in creating a more sustainable and inclusive society.

What you'll learn

Over the course of four placements, you’ll work in a variety of teams to support our clients, providing financing, risk management, trading and transactional banking solutions.

Your first three placements will see you gain experience and confidence in client facing, risk and product specialist roles. For your final placement, you’ll preference a specialism based on your experience and aspirations. And on completion you’ll have the skills and awareness to take your career anywhere across our Group.

You’ll be matched up with a buddy or mentor to support you and offer guidance throughout the scheme, and you’ll have access to technical and business-aligned training, including platforms such as Viva Learning and Learning Management systems, to further help your development.

With opportunities for extracurricular activities to expand your skills and experience across the bank, and with introductions to colleague networks, you’ll make great connections to further your career.
