The Electric Hybrid Vehicle Awareness Award is a part-time course offered by Harlow College for adult learners. It provides an opportunity for individuals to develop their understanding of electric and hybrid vehicles, their technology, and their impact on the automotive industry.

This course focuses on raising awareness and knowledge of electric and hybrid vehicles. It covers the fundamental principles and technology behind electric and hybrid vehicles, including their components, systems, and operation. Participants will learn about the benefits and challenges of electric and hybrid vehicles, as well as their environmental impact and sustainability.

Delivered as one 3 hour evening session, you will learn about the different types of electric and hybrid vehicles, the dangers surrounding all variations of the vehicles and the precautions to avoid potential injury.

Who is it suitable for?

There are no formal entry requirements for this qualification and learners are not expected to have any prior knowledge or experience, however, an interest in the subject area is advisable.

Where will this course take me?

If you are working in the automotive industry you may want to progress on to the Level 2 Award in Electric/Hybrid Vehicle Routine Maintenance Activities course.
