Global insurance firm AXA is looking for graduates with a flair for individual thought.
International insurance and asset management organisation, AXA, is recruiting innovative graduates to join their immersive Global Actuarial Graduate Programme. AXA's scheme is unique in its approach, with a flexible plan adjusted to match each individual applicant's strengths.
Walid, a graduate on the actuarial programme, says the company is interested in creative and individual ideas.
"AXA wants you to think differently and bring a fresh perspective," he says. "It's not a case of you changing to fit in with the company - the company will tailor the programme to you."
The training scheme at AXA is one of the fastest to give graduates qualifications-a major reason Walid wanted to join the programme.
"I applied to the graduate scheme at AXA because I wanted to join a company that had both global and local operations in the UK," Walid says. "AXA has one of the best training schemes, allowing me to qualify as an actuary more quickly."
The Global Actuarial Graduate Programme provides successful applicants with the support to become fully qualified actuaries. Training in the profession lasts between three and seven years, and requires both numerical competence and a creative approach.
Walid says the company provides extensive support to ensure graduates are successful in their role.
"What I enjoy most about the AXA programme is the tremendous amount of support I receive from both my line manager and my colleagues - this enables me to take on extra responsibility with the tasks I do."
Graduates interested in using creative thinking to drive a numbers-based career should consider the opportunities offered by AXA's Global Actuarial Graduate Programme.
