You will help in project development, development of new innovative product solutions, and business plan development to meet the needs of our customer base.
Working with diverse colleagues, you’ll benefit from exposure to our different business functions and on the job training! You will rotate through the department with the goal to establish a strong foundation and insight into what a career with us at Forterra might look like. Responsibilities you could own on the programme include:
- Project Management and delivery, encompassing all the stages of project development from project inception Hands on practical product prototyping, conducting testing and compiling reports.
- Playing a key part in the implementation of key product development projects and working towards fulfilling the objectives of the operational sites.
- By the end of your training period, you'll be ready to join us in a permanent role in our technical function.
About you
This role is ideal for graduates with a 2:1 in a Built Environment degree or Product Design. For this role, you'll need to be comfortable working on your own initiatives and taking accountability for projects early on. You will need also need a full driving licence, as well as the ability to travel to sites across the UK. Other qualities we’d like to see include:
- Strong presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent IT and technical skills.
- Outstanding interpersonal and planning skills to ensure the seamless running of operations.
We are unable to offer sponsorship so you must have the full, unrestricted right to work in the UK for the full duration of the programme.
