Our Engineers work closely with their labs on design, development, strategy, implementation, and testing. If you love collaborating and learning from others on groundbreaking products, this scheme is definitely for you.

We’re looking for forward-thinking people who are always on the lookout for the next big thing. So, if you’ve got great ideas to put us at the forefront of future trends, optimise new opportunities, and make every feature and function count, apply now.

What You'll Learn

Over two years, you’ll get a fantastic insight into the variety of engineering roles we offer, helping you find your sweet spot.

You’ll rotate through three different placements, gaining a range of development opportunities. You might be working on large-scale transformations, coding in different languages, creating DevOps pipelines, or building new features for our mobile app to deliver real value for our customers.

Whatever the challenge, you’ll learn and apply Agile methodology and see the difference your work makes. Supported by your Engineering Lead, you can take up extra learning and certifications such as cloud training courses. Plus, you’ll have access to our market-leading on-demand learning platforms and opportunities to network at hackathons sponsored by Google, Microsoft, and IBM.

You’ll be matched up with a buddy or mentor to support you and offer guidance throughout the scheme, and you’ll have access to technical and business-aligned training, including platforms such as Viva Learning and Learning Management systems, to further help your development.

With opportunities for extracurricular activities to expand your skills and experience across the bank, and with introductions to colleague networks, you’ll make great connections to further your career.
