What are the common career paths in IT?

Hello everyone! I really just wanted to know if anyone can tell me the common career paths within IT as I know it covers a lot? Thank you!

Hey Tom! Having done a lot of research in this area myself, I can tell you there is no typical path to take! However, many enter the IT sector via a Trainee role within software development role which are also often referred to as technical support etc. After this you can progress into various roles such as a senior software developer, project manager etc. Hope this helps!
