I cannot understand the requirement for 2:1 or above in a degree as a pre-requisite to apply for graduate positions. Many (bright and dedicated) people with a 2:2 in a degree go on to achieve great things and help those companies that are more accommodating achieve their objectives. A 2:1 degree does not necessarilly make a person smarter than one who achieved a 2:2. I hope companies will realise that and change their recruitment policies.

Tell me about it. My problem seems to be that I do not have enough UCAS points even when I have the degree they want
