Over the course of the programme, you will move through a series of rotations across various manufacturing sites and positions. Implement systems and processes, and influence culture and behaviours, to drive our H&S agenda and enable the continuity and efficiency of those sites.
You'll gain outstanding insight into how our sites work at all levels to truly understand our workflow and be encouraged to put your learning into play with projects that are assigned to you. Responsibilities you could own on the programme include:
- Learning and reporting on how management systems run from the Factory Floor through to Strategic Management levels
- Aiding in the implementation of key projects and fulfilling the aims of our sites
- Providing support and direction for Operational Management to support our ISO45001 management systems and legal compliance for site manufacturing and distribution
- Aiding and influencing our behavioural-based safety programme (Road Map to Zero Harm)
By the end of your training period, you should be ready to begin a permanent role within either a site or central team function!
About you
We’re looking for proactive, resilient recent or final year graduates with a 2:1 (or equivalent) in a Health & Safety or Engineering related subject area. You’ll need to be comfortable dealing with challenges successfully, as well as being able to work on your own initiative. You will need a full driving licence, as well as the ability to travel to sites across the UK. Other qualities we’d like to see include:
- Excellent communication and relationship skills
- Strong presentation skills
- General IT knowledge
We are unable to offer sponsorship so you must have the full, unrestricted right to work in the UK for the full duration of the programme.
