Join our Sustainable Global Experience, a unique opportunity to get Carbon Literacy Certified and explore sustainability in Brussels with the University of Exeter. This one-week, fully funded programme will take place in Summer 2025.

What’s Involved?

Phase 1: Online Carbon Literacy Training (w/c 16th June 2025)

You’ll complete 12 hours of Carbon Literacy Training, covering key topics such as climate change science, its impacts, pathways to a zero-carbon world, and effective communication strategies for sustainability. You’ll then submit two pledges to reduce your carbon footprint and earn certification in Carbon Literacy, accredited by the Carbon Literacy Project!

Phase 2: 5-Night Field Trip to Brussels (22nd – 27th June 2025)

Put your training into practice during a 6-day trip to Brussels. You’ll visit key sustainability sites like the European Parliament and Europe's largest aquaponics farms, engaging in group projects, and sustainable travel via Eurostar (with all emissions offset by 150%). You’ll stay in eco-friendly hostels in the city center and spend your free time exploring the city and networking with the inspiring people behind key sustainable development projects in the city.
